Pastor Dr. Alice Koech

Pastor Dr. Alice Koech began serving at EUMC in July 2024. Beginning in July 2021, she pastored Easton UMC. Prior to that, she served at Hays First UMC in Hays, KS for 2 years as Associate Pastor and youth minister. Before that Alice was a pastor at Big Springs UMC and Julesburg UMC in Nebraska and Colorado, respectively. In between these pastoral appointments, she did entrepreneurship including being a researcher, coach and writer. She is a wife and a mom to 3 adult children: Roy, Abigail, and Zachariah. Her husband, Ezekiel, is the pastor at Baldwin First UMC and Ives Chapel UMC. Eldest son Roy lives and works in Lincoln, NE. Daughter Abigail lives and works in the Kansas City area. Youngest son Zachariah is going to Kansas State University to pursue an engineering degree.
